Welcome Adams Makope to the DEKK Rubber Tracks & Pads Sales Team. Here’s a brief snap shot of who Adams is and what he brings to the company and our customers.

Position: Sales – OEM dealerships
Job Role:
My role involves being the main point of contact for all of the DEKK Rubber Tracks & Pads OEM’s Australia wide such as Case, CAT and Kubota to name a few. The position is an exciting and challenging one, and with my past Business Development experience I’m proactively looking to ensure I meet the needs of our current dealers and also expand our reach with new dealer networks in the region.
Work/Life Experience:
Having spent the past 15 years living and working in Auckland, New Zealand I recently made the move across the ditch and joined DEKK. My previous roles and experience in New Zealand in Business Development Roles has positioned me well to take on my current role.
Hobbies/Interests:
Unfortunately for all the Australian Rugby Union fans, having lived in New Zealand for so long, I’ve been brain washed with the sport of rugby and a winning mentality) and follow the All Blacks (the last time Australia won the coveted Bledisloe Cup was more than 16 years ago…just saying). International soccer is also another favourite sport of mine.
Live music and anything in the online tech world are other favourite past times of mine.
Biggest Achievement to date:
By far my biggest academic achievement to date has been completing a Masters in Business Administration from Auckland University of Technology specialising in Operations Management for the service industry and of course finding my way to DEKK and getting back on track (pardon the pun).
